So you decided to serve Mango Lime Dip & Fruit Kabobs at your party. But how do you present those darn kabobs on your buffet table? Try this simple stand made from dollar store materials that looks like a million bucks.
What’s needed:
Continue by covering the tops and sides of the connected discs with glue. Squeeze the school glue onto the Styrofoam and then use the foam brush to smooth the glue into a thin, even layer.
Next sprinkle the glitter over the entire surface. Shake off any excess and let the glue dry completely. Easy peasy!
This type of stand works great for any type of food or dessert on stick – cake pops, corn dogs or even lollipops.
Watch this short video to see how easy it is to put together.
Have fun!

Tips and Hints
- The glitter tends to grow legs and end up in places you wouldn’t ever think of. To minimize the glitter-sprawl, do your project on top of a disposable plastic table covering. When you’re finished just fold the covering into the center of the table, right over any disposable project supplies and toss in the trash.
- Place a piece of parchment or wax paper under the Styrofoam discs before you apply glue. This will prevent your project from sticking to your work surface.
