Bacon. Chops. Ham. Pork tenderloin. Babyback ribs. Sausage. Roasts.
There are so many different cuts of pork – and so many simple and delicious ways to make it for dinner! From smoky-sweet sauces to savory spices, here are 11 of our favorite ways to go whole hog this fall.
1.Bayou Pork & Asian Slaw Sandwiches.
It’s slow cooker season! For a set-it-and-forget-it fall dinner, try these hearty shredded pork sandwiches, topped with crunchy slaw with subtle hints of toasted sesame and sriracha.
At our house, we love to make these with baked sweet potatoes on the side!
2. Stuffed Pork Tenderloin.
Fun fact: did you know that pork tenderloin is actually just as lean as chicken breasts?
This special stuffed version is wrapped up with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach and mozzarella in the middle. (Oh, if you’ve never tried butterflying pork or chicken before, you’ll find a quick how-to video here. It looks so impressive, but it’s really easy!)
3. Slow-Cooker Pork Carnitas.
This weekend, make your own perfectly tender pork for tacos and nachos, slow-simmered in your slow cooker with cumin, cayenne, and a sweet splash of juicy citrus.
Tip: layer it on tortillas with black beans, salsa, cilantro and a sprinkle of cotija cheese.
4. Spiced Berry Bacon Tenderloin.
For a perfect autumn meal, make this sweet and savory pork tenderloin, covered with smoky-salty bacon and a luscious sauce swirling with warm fall spices, apples, cherries and a hint of orange peel.
5. Chipotle BBQ Babyback Ribs.
Love using your Instant Pot or slow cooker? Make these fall-apart smoky-sweet ribs, slathered with a smoldering, lip-smacking sauce.
Perfect with the last corn-on-the-cob of the summer or roasted squash!
6. Bayou Pork Medallions & Sautéed Apples.
Going to the apple orchard this fall?
Sauté this classic combination on your stovetop: tender seasoned pork, paired with fresh apples caramelized with butter and brown sugar. It’s been an autumn favorite for my family for years, and it’s ready in only 20 minutes.
7. Orange Honey Mustard Chops.
The secret to these juicy chops: tossing them into the fridge overnight with a simple marinade of honey mustard and fresh-squeezed orange juice.
Serve with a wild rice medley, mashed potatoes or roasted broccoli.
8. Ultimate Roast Pork with Pan Gravy.
Craving a little comfort food? When the temperatures fall, make this homestyle dinner, featuring perfectly seasoned pork and gravy. It’s such a cozy and comforting Sunday dinner!
9. Honey Mustard Ham Sliders.
With smoky ham, melted Swiss and sweet-tangy mustard, these easy and delicious sliders are a family favorite. Great for kids!
Plus, they are ready in only 25 minutes for those busy back-to-school weeknights.
10. Tex Mex Potato Corn Chowder.
Have ground pork in your fridge or freezer? Try this creamy chowder recipe, packed with corn, pork, poblanos Cheddar cheese, and hearty potatoes.
11. Honey Teriyaki Pork Stir Fry.
Quick and easy, this simple stir-fry sizzles with thinly sliced pork, fresh stir-fry veggies, sweet pineapple and teriyaki sauce.
