Do you have this persistent dream that someday you’ll be organized? I’ve had visions of perfectly folded clothes and neat rows of canned goods dancing in my head for so long that one would think I could have made my dreams come true by now. Nope. Haven’t.
But I have taken a step in the right direction with meal prep. Unless you’ve been under a rock for the last few years, you’ve surely heard of meal prepping, but just in case…
Meal preppers set aside some time each week (or each month if you are into cooking marathons) to make meals, usually freezable, so that week nights run more smoothly.
With so many of us home more due to the pandemic, lunches and breakfasts are also weighing on us, and meal prepping can help there, too.
Some of my favorite meals go directly from freezer to oven … no thawing required. I don’t know about you, but I don’t always remember to pull something out of the freezer, so this “no thaw” thing has been a game changer.
And good news! We have a brand new 5-meal kit called Freezer to Oven 5-Meal Kit, with some family faves that will go into your regular rotation when you find out how awesome they are.
This recipe for Honey Teriyaki Chicken & Rice is ALWAYS a winner at our house, with nary a leftover in sight.
And who doesn’t love Classic Beef Enchiladas? Add a simple salad and dinner is served!
