Spring is only a few days away, and it has me ready for Easter, DIYing and outdoor activities! Since I’ve rarely been going out this past year, I’ve been more aware of buying activities for the kids that they can do at home instead of just the usual toys or trinkets.
So this spring, the kids will be getting a little DIY treat basket from the Easter bunny. Isn’t the Easter bunny so clever? Of course, they’ll get a few little eggs filled with candy, but I think they’ll love mixing up a Key Lime Cheese Ball and making it into a fun treat!
In my basket you’ll find Twisty Grahams, Key Lime Cheese Ball Mix, edible grass on fun bunny plate, sprinkles, and some Easter eggs!
What can you do with these yummy treats? Make a little cheese ball nest! First, in a medium bowl, mix up your cheese ball mixture.
Take a clementine or small apple and cover it in the cheese ball mixture. Using a small, round fruit will help it keep the form and easier for a kiddo to sculpt/handle. Keep covering it with the cheese ball mix until it looks like an egg.
Then go to town with sprinkles! Set your egg creation in a nest of edible grass and grab your bag of Twisty Grahams – you’ll need them for dipping!
Another fun idea: include a Baby Bundt for One in an Easter basket. It’s the perfect little gift for anyone who loves strawberry shortcake! (And very easy to make – mix, microwave and glaze, and you have a little personal cake!) The Easter bunny might bring a Baby Bundt for One for me this year … just sayin’.
Happy spring, everyone!
