Five-Star Stuffing!

It’s stuffing season, people! I firmly believe that stuffing is the greatest sidekick to turkey at Thanksgiving, for a holiday dinner or for a family meal. And if you’re not sure about stuffing, or haven’t tried a good stuffing, you definitely need to grab Creamy Wild Rice Soup Mix (yes, a soup mix!) and make Creamy Wild Rice Stuffing. You will never look back. Let me show you how easy it is to make the perfect salty-sweet stuffing recipe.

First, preheat your oven while you get the stuffing prepped. Then combine 5 cups hot water, Creamy Wild Rice Soup Mix, 2-3 tablespoons Onion Onion Seasoning and 2 teaspoons Garlic Garlic Seasoning in a large saucepan or dutch oven. Simmer for 45 minutes.

While that’s simmering away, in a large skillet sauté 6-8 slices chopped bacon until almost crispy. (And let’s be honest. We probably don’t need a range for the bacon; just add 8 slices. More bacon=more yum.) Add 1 cup celery to the bacon and cook until the bacon is crispy.
In a large bowl, combine 14 ounces unseasoned dry breadcrumbs, ½ cup dried cranberries, bacon mixture and soup. Toss to combine; salt and pepper as desired.
Transfer stuffing into a greased 13×9-inch baking dish. Bake, covered, 30 minutes. Remove the cover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes.

10/10 I would recommend this flavorful stuffing. It has the creaminess from the soup, the salty from the bacon and the sweet from the dried cranberries.

Enjoy!
