9 Delicious Valentine’s Day Desserts

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.

Maybe you’re skipping the fancy restaurant this year and making a home-cooked romantic dinner. Maybe your evening will involve watching something sweet on Netflix with your kids. Or maybe you prefer to boycott the whole thing, but well … you’re not exactly opposed to eating a little extra chocolate.

Whatever the case may be, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered. From cute cookies to decadent desserts, here are nine sweet ways to mix up something special for the sweethearts in your life – or just for yourself – on Valentine’s Day!

9 Delicious Desserts for Valentine’s Day

1. Molten Brownie Lava Cakes. No reservations required. It’s easy to make your own deliciously decadent lava cakes at home, filled with molten fudge. This recipe is one of my personal favorites!

So glorious and gooey, these mini desserts are divine with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh raspberries.

2. Peanut Butter Blossoms. Topped with chocolate kisses, these sweet and simple cookies are perfect for your little sweethearts.

Tip: For Valentine’s Day, you can even swap traditional kisses with heart-shaped peanut butter cups like we did – perfect for peanut butter lovers!

3. Chocolate Crème Brûlée Bars. Fall in love with luxurious, silky-smooth chocolate custard, complete with a blissfully buttery crust and caramelized topping.

Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls if you’re feeling fancy. These sinfully rich bars are delightful after dinner with a cup of espresso or a glass of red wine, too.

4. Valentine Berry Tart. Fresh raspberries and strawberries. Lusciously creamy filling. Flaky pastry crust.

Filled with fresh berries, this pretty tart is absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day. Since you use pre-made pie crust, this recipe comes together quickly, too!

5. Chocolate Lovers’ Red Velvet Cake. Love red velvet? Try this simple and heavenly layered cake, kissed with sweet cocoa and swirls of cream cheese frosting.

6. Cutie Cake Lollipops. Even better than the ones from your favorite coffee shop or bakery! Blissful and bite-sized, these cute little cake pops are always a kid-friendly favorite.

Tip: If you’d like, you can use red or pink candy melting wafers instead of white almond bark. (You’ll find all kinds of colors in craft stores and large retailers like Walmart in the cake decorating aisle.)

7. Chocolate Berry Thumbprints. Dolloped with spoonfuls of strawberry jam, these crispy-chewy chocolate cookies come together in minutes. Make a batch fresh from the oven, and enjoy with ’em with your Valentines!

8. Peanut Butter Mousse Brownies. Welcome to a match made in heaven with these fudgy brownies, layered with pillowy peanut butter mousse.

Garnish with a light dusting of cocoa powder, or if you’re feeling extra decadent, chopped peanut butter cups.

9. Berry Brownie Torte. And last but not least, stir up this gorgeous brownie torte, topped with fresh berries and velvety chocolate ganache. It looks SO impressive, but it’s actually really simple to make.

Feel free to decorate one side of the tart with berries and sliced almonds like I did, or arrange your fruit in whatever pattern you’d like.

No matter which of these dreamy desserts you whip up this Valentine’s Day, I guarantee you’ll find one you love!
