February is the month of love, with Valentine’s Day traditionally associated with chocolate and roses. My own philosophy is, roses fade, but a taste of chocolate is a joy forever. Why not skip the florist this year and present your true love with a bouquet of classy chocolate delights instead? All these scrumptious recipes feature versatile, easy-to-make Classy Chocolate Pound Cake Mix:
1. Chocolate Whoopie Pies. When your honey bunch asks what you have planned for Valentine’s Day, go ahead and tell them you plan on making whoopie … pies!
2. Double Chocolate Cheesecake. What’s more irresistible than chocolate cheesecake? Cheesecake with DOUBLE the rich, fudgy goodness. Classy Chocolate Pound Cake on the bottom and a generous drizzle of Creamy Caramel on top makes this dessert way, way beyond amazing.
3. Classy Chocolate Raspberry Bundt Cake. Classy Chocolate Pound Cake and Absolutely Almond Pound Cake are swirled together and kissed with sweet raspberry flavoring to create this pretty, delicious dessert.
4. Peanut Butter Cup Pound Cake. You know what they say about two great tastes that taste great together. That’s this impressive dessert in a nutshell.
6. Chocolate Nirvana Slow Cooker Pudding Cake. In Buddhism, Nirvana is a transcendent state of bliss. You don’t have to master meditation to reach this earthly equivalent – a heavenly mix of chocolate pound cake, pudding and hazelnut spread. Just plug in the slow cooker. Om my!
7. Classy Mini Lava Cakes. Your snookums will lava these little chocolate cakes filled with molten Creamy Caramel Sauce.
8. S’more Cake. You won’t have to deny your honeybunch when they ask for s’more of this cake version of the classic campfire treat.
10. Peanut Butter Chip Cookies. Keep your loved ones thinking about you all day when you tuck one or two of these chocolate cookies in their lunch boxes.
12. Classy Chocolate Mint “Tiramisu”. Cap off a romantic Italian dinner – or a corned beef and cabbage supper with this minty dessert. Irish crème liqueur and mint flavor make this a natural for Valentine’s Day OR St. Patrick’s Day!
Since the subject is cake, I can’t resist making this list a baker’s dozen:
13. Classy Chocolate Caramel Trifle. If you REALLY want to win someone’s heart, serve up irresistible layers of chocolate cake, fresh berries, whipped cream and creamy caramel.
Make February a month to remember when you woo your special someone with any of ALL of these delectable desserts!
