Fall is in the air! And while that means pumpkin season is officially here, there’s another autumn favorite that deserves some serious attention: fresh-picked apples.
So crisp. So juicy. So sweet. If you’ve never been apple picking before, I hope you’ll try visiting a local orchard with your family or a few friends this fall. There’s just something wonderful about breathing in the fresh air and filling your bucket – both literally and figuratively. But if you can’t find the time (or an orchard near you), grab some fresh picks at your local farmers’ market or neighborhood grocery store. There are more varieties than ever this time of year, and it’s so fun to try all of the different flavors!
Once you have all those apples, how do you make the most of them? From fresh-baked apple crisp to spiced cheesecake, here are 10 of our favorite recipes for fall!

By the way, it will make your whole house smell amazing, too. It’s been one of my favorites for years!
2. Apple & Pecan Power Salad. Filled with fresh fall flavors, this crunchy superfood slaw is tossed together in minutes with tart Granny Smith apples and toasted pecans.

Try pairing it with roasted chicken, steak or pork tenderloin.
5. Better Than Gramma’s Apple Crisp. Four ingredients – that’s it! Warm, bubbly and delicious, this old-fashioned apple crisp is incredibly easy to make. Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Tip: I love to use old-fashioned oats and bake mine in a large cast iron skillet to ensure a perfectly crispy texture on top.
6. Baked Cinnamon Apples. Love baked apples? Try this simple version, bubbling with buttery brown sugar, sweet cinnamon and wholesome oats.
Swirl and twirl with a drizzle of Creamy Caramel Sauce, and serve warm in individual dishes with scoops of ice cream.
7. Bayou Pork Medallions and Sautéed Apples. For a delicious fall dinner, you can never go wrong with bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, paired with sautéed apples and brown sugar-bourbon sauce.
Serve with mashed sweet potatoes or roasted butternut squash on the side.
8. Butterscotch Apple Crumble Danish. So easy! Perfect for breakfast or dessert, these fresh-baked pastries are layered with creamy butterscotch filling, sliced apples and crumbly streusel.
